Relational work isn’t about fixing each other. It’s about understanding what holds you apart — and what might bring you closer.

I work with couples and families. But not always, and not just anyone

I typically work best with relational clients who are also doing (or have done) individual therapy. That’s not a gatekeeping tactic. It’s a way to make sure the work holds.

I pay close attention to what’s happening between people. Not just who’s at fault, not just who feels more hurt, but the system they’ve created together, how it operates, how it protects, and how it sometimes fails them both.

If we work together, I’ll likely ask:
What keeps happening here? And why?

I won’t take sides, but I won’t stay neutral.
I’ll be honest, curious, and steady, especially when things get hard to say.

Not every couple or family is a fit. That’s okay.

The consultation is where we begin.
