Individual Therapy for Anxiety, Overthinking, and Emotional Intensity in Eugene and Springfield, Oregon

Let’s begin here.

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons.

This work focuses on your internal patterns, thoughts, and emotional experience. If you’re looking to work on relationship dynamics between people, you may want to explore relational therapy.

Sometimes it’s sharp: grief, panic, a feeling that something inside has come unmoored.
Sometimes it’s quieter: anxiety, overthinking, a pattern you can’t seem to shake, a role you’ve outgrown, a question that’s lingered too long.

I work with individuals who move through the world carrying complexity.
People who feel too much, or too little.
People who think carefully, speak carefully, and still find themselves stuck.

You may already understand yourself in many ways:
Able to name the patterns, track the thoughts, even anticipate what’s coming next.

But understanding alone doesn’t always create change.

Sometimes change arrives quickly: the right insight, the right tension named.
Other times, we work more gradually: watching how anxiety, thoughts, emotions, and relationships loop and reinforce each other.

This is therapy that focuses on clarity.
For presence.
For the slow alignment of self with self.

This work is less about quick solutions, and more about understanding how patterns actually move and take hold.
It tends to be slower, more deliberate, and focused on clarity over immediate answers.

We can talk.
We can sit in stillness.
We can work directly with the patterns as they unfold.

This tends to be a good fit if something in this feels familiar:

You find yourself stuck in cycles of overthinking or second-guessing.

You feel emotions intensely, or struggle to feel them at all.

You understand yourself intellectually, but still feel stuck in your patterns.

You notice the same dynamics playing out in your relationships.

You’re looking for something deeper than coping skills alone.

I offer individual therapy in Eugene and Springfield, Oregon, both in-person and online.
